In the 70's and 80's this was a petrol station. The BL car dealership attached was Wadham-Stinger. |

Reigate Public Baths. Swimming Pool and public baths (for washing). I swam many miles in this pool and still have the badges to prove it. Mr Stringle the swimming teacher was excellent. Sadly the pool was pulled down in the late 70's, I say sadly but the place was freezing in the winter.

We took swimming lessons at these baths. I went to Coniston School in Alma Road, just passed St Marks Church on the left. |
