There are a number of junctions on the railway in this area. From this point railway lines in use run to:
To the North: Norton Bridge, Stone, Crewe.
To the South: Penkridge, Walsall, Rugeley, Lichfield, Bloxwich.
The line to the North West has been lifted and serves as a track with the name "The Way for the Millenium". The track once ran to Wellington and Shrewsbury. The lifted track was formerly the Shropshire Union Railways and Canal Company's line from Stafford, used more recently for a local Wellington-Walsall service, withdrawn in 2008. '
