' Harland and Wolf Shiprepairers and Engineers workshops. After H & W ceased operations in London around 1969 /70 these workshops were shared by R & H Green and Silley Weir and J Russell and Company. Both shiprepairer companies. Silleys had the majority of the sheds with Russells having the easterly bays, nearest the King George V dock idetified with the ventilators on the shed roofs. J Russell became part of the London Graving Dock Group of Companies before all of the shiprepair facilities on the Thames were nationalised as part of British Shipbuilders '
