' Paisley Barrhead District Railway - Known locally as "The Dummy Railway" The Three Junctions at this location were never connected - East, West and South. The railway was built with the intention of providing a circular service from, or to, Glasgow and Barrhead via Lyon Cross or Paisley. There was a second section too. This ran from Paisley St James Station to Blacklands where a connection was made with the Double- Track section I have mentioned. Goods trains use the latter route to access Lacy Street, Goods Station, Paisley, Barrhead Gas Works and Barrhead South. '
