Actually it was the old Midland Bank Limited in which I had my first job after leaving school in 1966! It is, indeed, now an Indian Restaurant

This shows the road layout prior to the wartime demolition after bomb damage of the Congregational Church in 1944 - the site was later used to push the new road, Broadmead Road, through and the northern part of the site was used for the Sir James Hawkey Hall.
