This is Heaviley Sunday School on the corner of Buxton Road (A6) & Nangreave Road. John Brian, Betty, Vivienne Grace & Anthony Paul Howarth lived in the "house" converted from the lower right corner of the building from approximately 1953 to 1957. Heaviley Sunday School was a branch of the Methodist Stockport Sunday School |

St George's Church, Stockport. Built by a local official when the nearby St Thomas Church Stockport would not baptise him. This magnificent church is not Stockport Parish Church as some assume (that is the ancient St Mary's). As this is on the South side of the Mersey it is under Chester diocese. |
