| the area has changed over the years but this area could be the coast line between hastings castle and fairlight cove the cliffs have eroded back but the beach groins are still visible below the surface on the outward tide in modern aerial shots of the area. the cliffs have eroded/washed back some 100+m over this time period (covehurst bay) |
