3ft gauge tracks of the erstwhile Ballycastle Railway, which had just been closed (3/7/1950)by the Ulster Transport Authority during their purge of railways in Northern Ireland. Pic also shows Ballymoney Railway station. Also the shunting/carriage yard (now gone/bus depot and bussness yard) and coming in from almost top left the Ballycastle/Armoy/Dervock/Stranocum line, also closed decommissioned in Early fifties, station still remains as part of the Belfast to Derry line.
