Gateway of coal yard where 1950s, there was a collision between a Mumbles Train, and a coal lorry exiting the yard. The lorry driver suffered a fatality.

Coal rail truck sidings, where coal was weighed and loaded onto lorries.

Until 1971, when the August bank Holiday was changed to the last Mon. of the month. The footbridge at the Swansea Bay Station, would be crowded with spectator's, watching the cricket match at St. Helen's Sports Ground, across the Mumbles Rd.

Fullers Cabinet Makers, also had a workshop at the rear of these houses. During the 1960s, I worked from a small warehouse on the same site.
