The former Caernarfon Jail. Now used as offices by Gwynedd Council. The last person to be hanged at the jail was William Murphy who was an Irish labourer and ex soldier. Murphy was hung on the 25.01.1910 after killing his mistress Gwen Elin Jones on Christmas Day 1909.
