Paisley and Barrhead District Railway - known as the Dummy Railway because it was built for passengers, including stations, but only used for goods, the occasional excursion and workers' trains

This is a very historic bridge. It carries the Paisley Canal railway line over the White Cart water. It is the oldest bridge in the world that still carries a railway, having been originally built as a canal bridge in 1810 by Thomas Telford, long before the railways were established.
