Burntisland Shipyard was established in 1918 and closed in the late 1960s - a span of 50 years. Three vessels were launched from the yard late in 1929 - Brynmor on 19 October, Zouave on 16 November and Skeldergate on 17 December. Eskdalegate followed on 17 March 1930.
