My auntie lived in the strange houses at the top end of Tylefield st. more like dwellings but the bottom houses were like Miners row houses with their own door and the upper level was from stairs behind the houses.. The stables had some geese wondering around making a noise when I used to pass on my way home from work in the early 60s... there was a bookies on that corner at Crownpoint road.. |
