| Main Stand, Cliftonhill Stadium, home of Albion Rovers F.C.
This stand which had stood for over 60 years, was replaced in 1972 for a 10,000 all seater complete with state of the art facilities, including gym and coffee making machines.
Glasgow side Celtic were the beneficiaries of this as the Rovers FC committee gifted the old stand to them, but only on condition the Parkhead club dismantle it themselves.
With a lick of paint the stand now sits proudly at it's new location in the East End of Glasgow to this day. |
