Viewfirth. An attractive and commodious villa, once occupied by the rector of Miller Academy. It was acquired by the UKAEA as the sports and social club for the workers at Dounreay Power Station. In more recent years it was gradually run down, closed and sadly, the building demolished. |

This building, of about 1882, was built as the Artillery Volunteers drill hall. By WW1 it was in use by E Coy, 5th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders (Territorial Force). It is now privately owned. |
