Ayrshire Dockyard, i.e. as it was known earlier. Not sure what name it had at date of this image but I think shipbuilding had ceased and the site concentrated on ship repair work.

The foreground is the town of Irvine, which has a Low Green St and a High St. Not sure why the image is titled Dundonald. |
