Another pylon, pretty much half way between the other two. |

Pretty certain this is an electricity pylon. Another (less clear) in right hand bottom corner. I think I can see three on epw057589. But, I failed to find the intermediate ones in the much longer hop. Its possible there is one just right of the road. If so http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=21R2yozACbsC&pg=PA90&dq=electricity+grid+1938+england&hl=en&sa=X&ei=LfcUUqLYDqKR0AWFi4HYAQ&ved=0CDYQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=electricity%20grid%201938%20england&f=false may be helpful. |

Is this a house? The windows are not obvious. Why the verandah along the front. The lower structures, mostly flat roofed do not match on the two sides. For a butterfly planned house the central range is longer than most, and the wings shorter. |
