Have just learned that the Station House has recently been demolished and is no longer there. Very sad, Nan,Grandad,Mum and Dad, you will always have a place to rest in our hearts. The memories of Station House will live with us forever. Alan. |

The Station Masters house is still there today, used as railway offices. It was my families home for almost 50 years, my Mother was born in that house, my Grandfather and Great Grandmother also died there.In fact if you zoom in on one of the pictures you can just make out my Grandfather doing some gardening near the hedge.
