As I remember, this was a showroom for the North Thames Gas Board. Here you could view and buy the latest gas appliances or pay your bill. However at the time of the photograph, it would have been the premises for the Gas Light and Coke Company, one of its earlier constituent companies.

Coliseum Cinema opened in 1920 by the then Conservative MP for Harrow, Oswald Mosley (later leader of the British Union of Fascists.) The building was later converted into a theatre and was demolished c1958. It was redeveloped as a Premier Supermarket and later still an International Store (subsequently a Bejam/Iceland)
