This is now known as the Grosvenor Bridge. Battersea Bridge is further up the river. |

Check this for the right name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grosvenor_Road_railway_station The bridge was named after the station (long since closed) just to the north of the river. |

Opened in 1937 ... possibly the reason for the picture. There is still some evidence of finishing work going on at the southern end. The lack of traffic suggests it is not yet open! |
