| These five houses were destroyed by a bomb in WW2. They had previously all been owned by my Great, Great, Great Grandfather!! |

Actually only four houses here...the butterfly roofs are confusing. Surprised these were in private ownership in 1937. The Walcot Charitable Trust owned most of the properties on this part of Kennington Road and in Walcot Square itself, and still owns the site where these houses stood. They are now lock up garages. |

That's the Clock Tower. ;) The Obelisk is in the park near the War Museum. That was it's original location and was put back in the 90's. |
