RMS "Carinthia" built in Barrow and entered service on the Liverpool - New York route in August that year. Also used fro cruising and from Southampton at times. Became an armed merchant cruiser in WW2 and torpedoed and sunk westof Galway Bay in June 1940.

The SS Victoria cannot be under way, as there is no bow wave, and her port anchor appears to be lowered!
