Horton Old Hall, built in 1675. It was used as the residence for the Bishops of the Bradford diocese which was created in 1919. Bishop Donald Coggan presided over a wanton act of vandalism by having the building demolished around 1960. A car park took its place. |

Cross Lane Mill: building was started in 1821 by Eli Suddards and completed by James Cousens. Both names marked in local street names. It originally worked cotton until the collapse in that trade in the 1800s. |

Even in the early/mid 1950s this field had sheep grazing. Now it and adjacent fields have higher education buildings. |
