"Anne Hathaway`s Cottage" The replica built at 'Poet`s Corner' in Port Sunlight village, an interesting structure which was subsequently demolished.

Old bridge carrying Bromborough Road over the Storeton Quarry Tramway. Bridge was removed 1936 and road slightly diverted towards Quarry Road East.

Bomb dropped here, 1941, and destroyed this row of old cottages. The Brown Cow Inn, adjacent, was spared!

My home, 23 Bromborough Road, was built here the next year, 1935. This estate, including Gardens Road, was built by Lloyds, local builder.
