STEAM LOCO: Assumed to be 0-4-0ST appropriately named MACINTOSH, built by Hawthorn, Leslie & Co. Ltd., works No. 2448 of 1899. Loco was ex Wyken Coal Co. Ltd., Warwickshire via T W Ward (date ?) and moved to British Insulated Callenders Cables, Prescot in 1937. These details are taken from 'Industrial Locomotives of the East Midlands 1963', published by what is now the Industrial Railway Society.
