| 1932 was the year before London Transport was established so this AEC double-decker bus (probably ST class)was either operated by the London General company or London General Country Services. If the latter it was possibly operating on the Route 306 to Borehamwood and Barnet. |

| The Rose Garden, on the site of Herkomer's school - beautifully restored a few years ago with Lottery money. Fond memories of cycling like mad on the path around the lawn and climbing (!) all over the loggia. |
