The clock and clock tower were added in 1908. Supplied by Gillett and Johnston, the clock was fitted with a double three legged gravity escapement and 1 and a half seconds pendulum, at a cost of £157 10s 00. This included the 4, 4 foot 6 inch clock dials, electric lighting, stand, wooden tower and a large codfish copper weather vane. |
