Terminus for trams and trolleybuses. Route 662 trolleybuses, which ran to Paddington Green, were originally going to terminate half a mile further on at the junction of Watford Road and East Lane. Parliament approval had been gained in 1934 but the extention never took place, thus like the trams the terminus was here at the Swan at Sudbury.
