Sadly, this factory/mill building no longer exists, and the immediate area has been turned into a set of detached dwellings, including one with a garden right up to the mill pond. This mill pond existed before the creation of Ryburn Dam, and is above the height of the river here, so I am guessing that water abstraction must have occurred further up the valley. |
