"In 1930, Baker Street was renumbered. York Place and Upper Baker Street disappeared..." (Westmister Libraries and Archives) So at the time of this photograph (1931), this was Baker Street. A fact repeated on many Sherlock Holmes websites, since up to 1930, Baker St ended at number 85 and 221b couldn't exist. |
