By Edward Blore for George Ackers, to replace a large timber-framed building (Moreton Magna, 300 yards North) that had been the home of the Bellot family since 1602. Blore had worked on Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. This image shows the back of the house. In this image, the principal body of the house lies to the left and the service wing and stable court to the rght. The icehouse and iceyard nearby is a listed monument.
