The majority of this area came into the hands of the Metropolitan Police during the 1930s. It was developed into what was to become the Hendon Police Training College, the Met Police Cadet Centre and the Driving School. In recent years, the majority of the site has been sold off for housing development and the Met training facilities have been rebuilt within a much smaller footprint fronting Aerodrome Road. |
