My grandfather had shop here........right at the top of the picture, at the junction of Haydons Rd and Plough Lane. The picture also shows the trackbed of the Surrey Iron Railway, which ran through Summerstown and on towards Micham along Mead Path. |

I think this also shows 'Plough Lane' football pitch ('home the 'old Wimbledon FC) - approx 500m above the stadium. |
