Market Cross, Swaffham PE37 7AG Grade 1 listed - English Heritage Building ID: 460635 Market or Butter Cross, in centre of main open space of Market Place 1781-83. By Mr Wyatt (probably James). For the Earl of Orford. Limestone; lead roof. Circular on plan. 8 unfluted Roman Doric columns set on a triple-stepped plinth support a plain entablature. 2 leaded steps lead into half-round dome upon which is statue of Ceres. Dished plaster ceiling beneath dome. A Scheduled Ancient Monument, No.241.

Church of St Peter and St Paul, Swaffham 6 Mangate Street, Swaffham, Norfolk PE37 7AP Grade 1 listed building - English Heritage Building ID: 460562 C14-C15 with C18 and C19 alterations and restorations. 2-stage tower begun 1485, completed 1507-10 by Master Gyles. North aisle wall rebuilt 1462 Chancel constructed mid C15. Openwork battlements added 1533, with corner pinnacles. C16 6-bay arch-braced chancel roof.
