Woolston floating bridges now gone. One was made into a restaurant come night club back in the earlier 1980's but didn't last long. There now stands a bridge over the river Itchen which was opened by Princess Michael of Kent in 1977 and the toll was only until the bridge was paid for....well....it's still being paid for to this day! |
