The Leadyard. This was the bus terminus for out of town bus services operated by United Automobile Services. It looks like you can see some of their single deckers in the picture. In 1961 the terminus moved to the new Bus Station a short way away on Feethams. The new Darlington Town Hall was built on the Leadyard. The Feethams bus station was recently demolished and is now a car park.
