If I'm not mistaken, and it wouldn't be the first time, this later became the Bee's Knees, although I was consuming quite a lot of beer in those days. For a while it stopped our A6 Pub Crawl in its tracks, apart from the Rising Sun which was our spiritual home. We soon recovered though and resumed our, ever slowing march up to the George and Dragon......and sometimes even back to the Sun. Or a bench in Torkington Park! |
