Hutchinson, Hollingworth and Co Ltd's Dobcross Loom Works was, despite its name, actually in Diggle. It closed around 1967 and was taken over shortly afterwards by W. H. Shaw, pallet manufacturers. It closed after they went into administration in 2006. The gothic office building in the centre foreground is a Grade II listed building. |
