In 1969 Kay & CO Ltd the mail-order company, started to build its new distribution warehouse on this site. Built by Tarmac at a cost of over £1 million, the site employed over 3000 people and was ultimately was demolished in 2010. The Bromyard Road can be seen to the bottom left and the Ice Works alongside it. The modern aerial photo taken in the late 1980s shows the site as it remained until 2010. The pavilion is visible as is the Ice Works. |

The original cricket pavilion of Worcester County Cricket club. Sadly this building is now in a disgraceful state having been left to the elements for many years, |
