The main factory is the Dalmas building... Corah's is at the back of the church, out of picture The factory to the right would become Richard Roberts. |

It would eventailly become Corah's in the 1960's but when this pic was taken it didn't belong to Corah's |

The hosiery works (Corah's) employed 3000 people at its height with a further 7000 around the country. Nicholas Corah donated an organ to the City of Leicester which can be seen in De Montfort Hall, Leicester |

Yes, i was one of the 3000! Think it was called N.Corah&SonsLtd and then renamed N.Corah(StMargaret) Ltd |
