This is the Lockheed Hydraulic Brake Co. Ltd. factory in Leamington Spa. It went on to become the Automotive Products Group.

The road at the bottom is Tachbrook Road, and the view direction is north west.

This factory started to be built in 1931, so this photo was probably taken in the late 1930's or early 1940's. It was certainly not as early as May 1920 as suggested in the image details.

Dear David,

That’s great; we’ve reviewed your comments on the group of photos of this site and thanks to your help we can update the catalogue. The revised records will appear online in due course.

Aerofilms Ltd originally labelled this set of images as "Birmingham" and latterly "unidentified factories". The original numbers given to the images are definitely in sequence for 1920; but clearly something happened to the company's record keeping, as these photos have to be from the later 1930s at the earliest. Thanks for spotting the anomaly.
