This bilding belongs to the railway works. It was 24 shop, carriage and wagon works. One of the participants' of today's event used to be shop boy in there.

How interesting, my Dad was a French Polisher in 24 B shop, I can remember a few yarns from back then!

Is this Swindon? We think it may be mis-labelled.

It certainly is Swindon, just as I remember it from 60's, I grew up in Ferndale area.

I think it is Swindon. The main factory building on the right is the carriage works (now North Star)and I think the school building at the bottom right is Ferndale Road School with Southbrook Street just to its left.
