This is the 'temporary' library (formerly the temporary chapel) that was finally removed after the new library was built in 1929. I believe the removed library building can now be seen as part of an engineering workshop in King's Road. |

It was a temporary structure. I think it housed the porters at one time. I seem to recall reading about it in Selwyn College: A History, available from the college for the bargain price of £1.00! http://www.sel.cam.ac.uk/alumni/125bookwebpage.html |
