Former Chelsea Brewery, 533 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW, acquired by the Welch Ale Brewery Ltd (Old Kent Road) in 1900, and the Old Kent Road Brewery closed, and brewing concentrated here. Then Watney, Combe, Reid Ltd acquired it in 1920, and in 1924 converted it into a wine and spirits department as the "Cremorne Gate Cellars".
Today 2016 it is the bright green Arts and Furniture building, on the corner of Kings Road and Lots Road. |
