Since locating this series of photographs I find that there are twenty further photographs in the collection showing views of Pistyll Gwyn Quarry, Llanarmon, commissioned by Cawood Wharton & Co. Ltd and taken in 1952 and 1953. For the record these are WAW047520 - WAW047533 and WAW049166 - WAW049171 |

About two miles north of Llanarmon-yn-Ial in Denbighshire, Wales. I must have looked at most of the limestone scenery in Britain before finding this set of photographs. And I thought I knew North Wales! Everything fits. |
