This is the former Hull & Barnsley and Great Central Joint Railway and we can see a long line of wagons. Much of this route was utilised for storing wagons requiring repair during WW2, with just one of the two tracks retained for running trains. These wagons never, in fact, did get repaired and after closure of the line most were cut-up on site.

when I was a Kid this was called Crow town it was a small wooded area where we used to go and play
