I found this photograph of a District Line train at the stop blocks at Ealing Broadway taken on 09/09/2013. The building above the nearest car can be seen in the period photo. Does anyone know what the building is? Is it a signal box?

This train is District Line 'R stock' (surface stock), and it had a distinctive flare to the bottom of the sides.

This train is District Line 'Q stock', which is surface stock, not tube stock (not all London UndergrounD trains are 'tube' trains!), and it is made up of cars of differing designs and ages.
