At the time of the photo this factory on Clarendon Street was occupied by the Clarendon Pressing and Welding Co. Ltd which was there until 1962. Its first occupants c. 1900 were the Harrington Tubular Bell Foundry. (Source: Earlsdon Heritage Trail, Mary Montes)
The site is now occupied by housing.

Earlsdon House. Built 1852 by John Flinn. One of the earliest houses on the Earlsdon estate.
At the time of the photo the building and works behind it were occupied by the Coventry Precision and Repetition Company who remained there until 1965. It is now occupied by retail outlets.
