This building was the home of A.P. Films who produced the puppet series Thunderbirds and Supercar. I used to peek through the gap in the emergency fire doors and see the puppets hanging up inside. Grey-painted polystyrene "rocks" could be found lying around the building. Sylvia Anderson had a Sunbeam Alpine which she had painted pink to match Lady Penelope's car.

I had a friend who worked at AP Films and Peter Wragg who went on to Canada and did the special effects for the FX films

Known locally as "John's Shed". Home to various haulage companies including one called Janes which operated tipper lorries. For some years it was also used as the overnight garage for the "Blue Bus" which used to run across Dorney Common and through Eton Wick to Slough before repeating its circular route.

In the fifties, this was Johnson's Stores, a grocer's shop which later changed ownership and became Vincent's stores

Eddie's cafe before changing to Barton's cafe. A popular haunt for rockers on motorbikes in the early sixties. Now all gone replaced by a Mercedes Garage.

Weston House school building, I went there when it was new, they have since built them a new school as part of Windsor Meadows, they let vandals burn this down and this allowed them to build more houses

Bare steelwork of what had been a barn for storing horse drawn dustcarts (the household rubbish had been dumped in the 20's on the far side of horwoods field in old dry gravel pit) the barn had burnt out some time

These are unused anderson shelter bits, we made huge camps of them! They are in an old dry gravel pit used as a council "dump" for odd building materials
