Original Bleriot Aircraft Factory in WW1; then Weymans Buses; bought by Plessey Electronics c. 1966 as their Radar Systems Division. Was corporate HQ of PESL max site workforce 1600 in late 1980's. Plessey bought by GEC and site closed c 1997. Now redeveloped as new offices and housing.
